New updates on all platforms
With the release of updates 3.6.0 for iOS and 3.1.0 for macOS, we've introduced a variety of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to Flow. Here's what you can expect:
One of the first changes you'll notice in the updated version is the redesigned timer button and revamped cycle progress indicator, which now includes a dynamic progress bar. Additionally, when you complete the final Flow session of a cycle, you'll be greeted with a short celebration animation to mark the start of your long break.
Leveraging our recent SwiftUI refactoring, we've built a dedicated settings view on Mac. This new settings view offers options to adjust the volume of notifications or the metronome, and allows for customizable keyboard shortcuts. More advanced options are on the way.
For our Pro users, we've introduced a new mini mode on Mac. Accessible via a small button in the top left corner of the Flow window, this mini mode provides a compact display of the Flow timer on your desktop, offering an alternative to the timer in your menu bar. It ensures that the timer is always visible without taking up too much space or distracting you from your tasks.
This update also includes several improvements and bug fixes. Most notably, the lifespan of the Live Activity on iOS has been thoroughly improved, eliminating outdated states and duplicate Live Activities on your lock screen.

Flow for visionOS
We're excited to share that we've made significant progress with Flow for visionOS. All features are now integrated and ready for testing, which means Flow will be available on visionOS very soon. However, we want to have a thorough test phase first. Since we don't currently own a Vision Pro, we'd greatly appreciate it if a few Vision Pro owners could join our group of testers. So if you own a Vision Pro and would like to test Flow before its official release, please reach out to us.
We're always looking for testers
Your feedback is important to us. So if you're interested in testing upcoming Flow updates before the official release, send us an email with your full name and Apple ID to support@flow.app.
